About Piecewell

Piecewell started at a kitchen table with a stack of fabric scraps and a sewing machine that had seen better days. What began as a way to use up leftover material grew into a small studio dedicated to one thing: quilts made to be used, not just displayed.

Every quilt is cut, pieced, and finished by hand in small batches. We favor natural fibers, simple construction, and colors that age well — because a quilt made this way should still be on your bed, or your grandchild's, in thirty years.

For those who want to make their own, our quilt kits and fabric bundles are cut from the same materials we use in our finished pieces, with instructions written for first-time quilters.
